You may have received a message that was made to appear as if we sent it, but it was not an email sourced from or sent from the State of Rhode Island network. This is a common phishing tactic involving impersonation of public sector team members; however, our email address ends in '@purchasing.ri.gov'. The State does not use the address from the reported phishing tactic messages '@purchasing-ri.us.'
